Every bead is placed by hand

Each portrait begins with your photo. We sketch your pet onto a stiff backing, then stitch the design one bead at a time: glass seed beads for fur and markings, pearls and rhinestones for collars, crowns and halos, sequins where you want a little sparkle. The beadwork is worked flat and low so it reads like a mosaic and stays put for decades.

The finished panel is mounted in a wide solid-wood frame, wired on the back and ready to hang the day it arrives.

  • Lettering included. A name, a phrase, or dates, beaded in the same style as the design.
  • Any breed, any coat. The design you pick is the starting point. Your pet's coloring, ears and markings are matched from your photo.
  • Built for the wall. Sawtooth hanger and wire on the back, no easel, no glass glare.

Questions, answered

Is it really all beads?

Yes. The portrait, the lettering and the background are all glass seed beads, pearls, rhinestones and sequins, stitched by hand onto a stiff backing. Nothing is printed or machine-embroidered.

Which size should I pick?

The size is the beaded area. 8x10 suits a shelf wall or hallway, 12x16 is the most popular for a living room gallery, and 16x24 is a statement piece over a sofa or bed. The solid wood frame adds about 1.5 inches on every side.

Can you bead my pet from a photo?

Yes. Upload a clear, well-lit photo on the product page and we match your pet's coloring, ears and markings to the design you chose. If you'd like to see the plan before we start beading, choose the proof option.

What can the text say?

Anything up to 16 characters per line: a name, "Good Boy", dates for a memorial. Type it exactly as you want it beaded, including capitals.

How long does it take?

Each piece is beaded to order. Current production time is shown on the product page and rush production can be added at checkout. Shipping is free in the US on orders over $150.

How do I hang and care for it?

Every frame ships with a hanger and wire on the back. Dust with a soft dry brush, keep it out of direct sun, and it will look the same for decades.
