About this jacket

This is a handmade, made-to-order beaded piece that takes days for us to make. No two handmade items are exactly alike, so yours may differ slightly from the photos. Beads are dyed, so slight color variation is normal.

Custom Beaded Golden Retriever Denim Jacket, Hand Beaded Dog Portrait Jean Jacket with Pet Name, Personalized Pet Lover Gift

Made for the devoted golden retriever mom who wants to wear her pup everywhere she goes.

The entire portrait is hand-beaded across the back panel with solid bead coverage and no denim showing through. We shape the head and neck using 11/0 glass seed beads and bugle beads in wheat gold, warm honey, and caramel amber, aligned in directional rows that follow natural fur growth. The smiling mouth and nose are stitched in jet black seed beads with white catchlights, the happy tongue is filled in coral pink, and the outer border is framed in dark espresso brown.

To personalize, enter your dog's name or initials and let us know if you want the lettering placed above or below the portrait. You can also note your dog's coat shade (English cream, classic honey, or dark red golden), or email us photos by replying to your order confirmation so we can match your dog's markings.

Includes one light-wash classic cotton denim trucker jacket in your choice of size from XS to XXL. The beaded retriever motif measures approximately 11 inches wide by 14 inches tall and is centered on the back panel.

Your pet is sketched onto the back panel of a light-wash cotton trucker jacket, then stitched one glass seed bead at a time: contour rows for fur, flat patches for the eyes and nose, a single white bead for the catchlight. The name and accents are beaded in the colors you pick above.

The beadwork is worked low and flat and fully backed on the inside, so it wears like a jacket, not a costume. It takes days to bead one. That is why it costs what it costs, and why it still looks right in ten years.

There is no rack of pre-made jackets waiting. When your order comes in, the denim is cut and sewn, the back panel is beaded with your pet, and the two are joined and finished by hand. That is where the weeks go.
